New website

First blog post on the Squarespace platform. I used to have a blog on Wix, but decided to have a NY based platform with fixed templates instead. As my former blog was quite mediocre, I didn’t save anything and decided to write brand new blog posts here instead.

To kick it off I’ll post a picture of the entrance of Hotel Norge, a fancy hotel in the city centre that survived the big city fire of 1916. Bergen in autumn is for “the particularly interested” as we say in Norwegian. Lots and lots of rain yet lots of pretty foilage. If you’re considering coming to Bergen, please come during spring or summer, unless you are a professional photographer hooked on pretty autumn leaves.

Personally I love Bergen in June, but I get the best pictures during the last weeks of October.
